The 6th Annual Wildlife Watch Fall Season Starts Today!
Wildlife Watch is a collaborative program supported by Evergreen Audubon, Denver Parks & Recreation, and Wild Aware. Our mission is to foster wildlife awareness, safety and appreciation in our mountain community.

Wildlife Watch Fall 2025 Season
Friday, September 19 - Sunday, October 26
Sign Up For Your Shift!
Wildlife Watch shifts are scheduled through SignUp Genius.
Please use the link below to sign up for your shift.
A few things to remember:
There is a code to access the sign-up link: 2 4 7 3
Sign up for anytime within the set window. The sign-up date will list a large chunk of time (i.e. 10:00 am - 6:00 pm). In your comment when you sign up, please indicate what time within that window you will be volunteering (i.e. 11:00 am - 1:00 pm).
Please include your drive time (to and from the lake) when you sign up. In the same comment that you list your volunteer shift, include x-amount of drive time (i.e. 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, plus 30 minutes of drive time).
Lastly, if you are comfortable sharing, please include your phone number in your comment so that the next person can find you around the lake when your shifts overlap.

Please remember to track the number of adults and children that engage with you during your shift. You can submit your data by clicking the link below!
Cart Storage Location
The cart is stored in the Warming Hut at the end of the red-ish pathway near the lake. Please see the screen grab below for an exact location.
There are 2 ways to access the building.
FRONT DOOR (F) - Lockbox Code is: 2473
REAR DOOR (R) - Lockbox Code is: 9453
Please remember to be respectful of the other items stored in the building.
Only enter the building to retrieve and return the Wildlife Watch cart.
Below is a simple guide for how to access the key within the lockbox.
This applies to both lockboxes, but each has a different code.
ALWAYS ensure the key returns to its position in the lockbox.
