From policy updates to practical coexistence strategies, we will share insights, stories, and tools to help you become an advocate for wildlife and compassionate conservation.
Webinar: Wolf Recovery — What’s Changed, What Hasn’t
Join us during Wolf Awareness Week for our webinar, Wolf Recovery: What’s Changed, What Hasn’t for an inspiring conversation about the past, present, and future of wolf recovery in the United States. While challenges remain, from federal and state efforts to reduce protections to conflicts with ranching communities, there is also much to celebrate. Wolves are reclaiming parts of their historic range, aided by forward-thinking policies, dedicated conservationists, and public support.

Welcome Home: Film & Conversation on the Return of Wolves
Join us to celebrate the incredible story of wolf reintroduction in Colorado during Wolf Awareness Week. Enjoy a free screening of the short documentary Welcome Home that captures the essence and spirit of the return of this iconic and beloved carnivore and how the state is recovering wolves in a thoughtful way that cares for wildlife and people, followed by presentations and discussion with Project Coyote Colorado State Coordinator, Mark Surls, and Senior Carnivore Campaigner, Sam Miller from the Center for Biological Diversity.

Coyote Friendly Communities: A Presentation from Project Coyote
Coyotes are among the most adaptable and misunderstood animals in North America. In this presentation, Project Coyote’s Colorado State Coordinator, Mark Surls, explores their complex lives, the challenges they face, and how we can safely and compassionately coexist with them. Learn practical strategies for coexistence that benefit both people and coyotes and gain a renewed respect for these resilient wild neighbors.

Learn how Project Coyote is advancing science-based advocacy, promoting coexistence, and shaping wildlife policy to protect Colorado’s iconic predators.
