About
Us
Wild Aware began in December, 2019, with the mission of mitigating wildlife-vehicle collisions in the Evergreen community. Wild Aware continues to seek solutions and strategies to address our WVC challenges.
Understanding that living in respectful coexistence with wildlife requires education, outreach, and resources, Wild Aware has developed pathways to collaboration with wildlife experts, educators and other non-profit organizations with which we share similar goals.
The result is the programs and leadership that we have today which reflects the great passion and commitment to Wild Aware’s mission and values that so many of those in our community share. We are grateful to our leadership and to all of the volunteers that make our teams strong and the effects of our work tangible.
Thank you.

Our partners are extremely important to our mission.
We collaborate with many state and local wildlife, law enforcement, road and highway agencies, not-for-profit groups, and volunteers in our efforts to educate residents and visitors and to help reduce the number of wildlife-vehicle collisions in our community.
We greatly appreciate their partnership in keeping our community safe for both wildlife and human residents!
