Wild Aware is conducting a field study to track wildlife movement along Evergreen Parkway. Solutions to reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions will be more effective with better data. Citizen scientists, like you, are the best option for capturing wildlife data.

Wild Count Project Goals
Identify, with supporting data, the locations and numbers of various species interacting with Evergreen Parkway.
Make all data from the study available to the public and specifically to the various managing entities of Evergreen Parkway and adjoining lands.
Produce graphics and maps showing animal residency and movement along Evergreen Parkway.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing wildlife mitigation strategies
Provide data for future mitigation solutions.
Maintain a status report of existing fencing and infrastructure wildlife-vehicle collision (WVC) mitigation efforts.
NEVER REPORT A SIGHTING WHILE DRIVING.
