From October 2–11, volunteers across Colorado will participate in the 2026 Roadside Wildlife Count by recording wildlife they see along the road—dead or alive—using a simple phone-based app. The information collected will help document where wildlife and roads intersect and support efforts for safer wildlife passage and crossings.
